Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the TIS Firewall Toolkit. A remote user may be able to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to the ftp-gw trigger a buffer overflow in the cmd_usr() function and potentially execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.

Other vulnerabilities may also exist.

Marcus Ranum reported this vulnerability based on an analysis using source code analysis software from Fortify.
