Description:   A vulnerability was reported in AOL in the CDDBControl ActiveX control. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.

A remote user can create HTML with a specially crafted CDDBControl 'ClientId' parameter that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a buffer overflow in the SetClientInfo() function the CDDBControl ActiveX Controland execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

The vulnerability resides in 'cddbcontrol.dll'.

Carsten Eiram of Secunia Research discovered this vulnerability as it applies to AOL.
