Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Cisco Security Agent Management Center when configured for LDAP authentication. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

When the system is configured to use an external LDAP server for authenticating administrators, a remote user can supply a valid username and a blank (i.e., zero length) password to gain administrative access to the management center application with the role privileges of the administrator.

A third party reported this vulnerability to Cisco.

Impact:   A remote user can gain administrative access.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fixed version (5.1 Hotfix 5.1.0.79).
