Description:   A vulnerability was reported in WebLogic Server. Some transaction coordinator operations may not be encrypted.

In specific circumstances, some transaction coordinator operations may not be encrypted using SSL due to a Quality of Service error. A remote user with access to the network between the client and the server may be able to monitor the operations or spoof transactions.

Impact:   A remote user with access to the network between the client and the server may be able to monitor transaction coordinator operations or spoof messages.
Solution:   The vendor has provided the following solution [quoted]:

WebLogic Server and WebLogic Express version 8.1

* Upgrade to service pack 4.
