Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Courier Mail Server. A user can cause memory corruption errors.

The software does not properly handle DNS failures when looking up Sender Policy Framework (SPF) records. A remote DNS server can send specially crafted responses to cause memory errors on the target system. As a result, denial of service conditions may occur.

The vulnerability resides in 'rfc1035/spf.c'.

Impact:   A remote user may be able to cause memory corruption errors on the target system.
