Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Blue Coat's ProxySG in the processing of ICMP error messages. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

The software does not properly validate TCP sequence numbers in ICMP error messages. A remote user can send spoofed ICMP error messages to cause TCP connections processed by the target system to be dropped or to cause the peformance of those connections to degrade.

Impact:   A remote user can cause TCP connections processed by the target system to be dropped or cause the peformance of those connections to degrade.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fixed versions (3.2.5 and 4.1.2), available at:
