Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Popper. A remote user can execute arbitrary commands on the target system.

The '' script includes scripts relative to the user-supplied 'form' parameter. A remote user can create a specially crafted URL to cause the target system to include and execute arbitrary PHP code from a remote system. The PHP code, including operating system commands, will run with the privileges of the target web service.

A demonstration exploit URL is provided:


This can be exploited if the 'register_globals' setting in the 'php.ini' file is set to 'on'.

This advisory was already released on, but there was a 
mistake in advisory page that marked vulnerable PHP line as HTML tag, so it wasn't
visible within web browser. That's why b0iler described it as a false positive

and send their e-mail messages using a web browser.

Popper is vulnerable to remote code inclusion bug in script
that can be abused to execute arbitrary code.
Vulnerable code in

To exploit this vulnerability, attacker has to put script like 
on HTTP server, and call url like this:
Vulnerability can be exploited only if register_globals in php.ini file is set
to 'on'.
