Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Fastream NETFile Server. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote authenticated user can connect to the FTP service and issue a specially crafted FTP PORT command with an arbitrary IP address to conduct FTP bounce attacks.

A remote authenticated user with file upload privileges can upload a specially crafted command file that specifies the localhost address (127.0.0.1) for the PORT command and then invoke the file to create a denial of service loop.

Tan Chew Keong of SIG^2 Vulnerability Research reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user with file upload privileges can cause denial of service conditions.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fixed version (7.6).
