Description:   A vulnerability was reported in RealPlayer Enterprise. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on a target user's system.

The 'pnen3260.dll' component contains a buffer overflow. A remote user can create a specially crafted RAM media file that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger the buffer overflow. Arbitrary code can be executed.

Impact:   A remote user can create a Real Media file that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's computer. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fixed DLL, available at:

The vendor indicates that you should copy this file into the \Program Files\Common\Real\Common directory of an existing RPEM/RDM install.
