Description:   A vulnerability was reported in ViewCVS. Some restricted files may be included in exported tar archives.

It is reported that when a repository is exported as a tar archive, the hide_cvsroot and forbidden settings are not enforced.

Hajvan Sehic is credited with discovering this flaw.

Impact:   The hide_cvsroot and forbidden settings are not enforced when exporting a repository as a tar archive.
Solution:   No upstream solution was available at the time of this entry.
