Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Mac OS X Terminal. The terminal may display the incorrect 'Secure Keyboard Entry'.

The vendor reported that the 'Secure Keyboard Entry' menu setting may be displayed when it is not active.

Mac OS X v10.2.8 and Mac OS X Server v10.2.8 are not affected.

Apple credits Jonathan 'Wolf' Rentzsch of Red Shed Software with reporting this flaw.

Impact:   The terminal may display 'Secure Keyboard Entry' status when the terminal is not in 'Secure Keyboard Entry' mode.
Solution:   Apple has issued a fix as part of Security Update 2004-12-02, available at:
