Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the NETGEAR DG834 router. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions or bypass the web site blocking rules.

Secunia reported that Dr_insane discovered that a remote user can establish approximately 100 connections with the administrative web interface to prevent the device from accepting additional management connections.

It is also reported that a remote user can use IP addresses in HTTP GET requests to bypass the web site blocking feature.

Impact:   A remote user can block access to the web-based management interface.
