Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Opera web browser. A remote user can create HTML that, when loaded, will cause an arbitrary URL to be displayed in the status bar.

Secunia Research reported that a remote user can create HTML that uses a URL redirect but then aborts the redirect with a BODY onUnload() tag. The status bar will reportedly continue to display the URL for the redirect after the redirect has been aborted.

Impact:   A remote user can create HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will cause an arbitrary URL to be displayed in the status bar.
Solution:   The vendor has released a fixed version (7.50), available at:
