Description: reported an information disclosure vulnerability in Lil' HTTP Server. A remote user can view files that should be password protected without authenticating to the web server.

A remote user can reportedly create a specially crafted GET request that can access the contents of password protected files or folders on the web server. The following type of URL will reportedly trigger the flaw:


Impact:   A remote user can view password protected files without having to supply a password.
Solution:   The vendor has reportedly issued a fixed version (2.2), available at:
