Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Pidgin. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
A remote user can send specially crafted data to trigger a flaw in the validation of return values from the purple_base64_decode() function and cause the target application to crash.
The Yahoo!, MSN, MySpaceIM, and XMPP protocol plugins and the NTLM authentication implementation are affected.
