Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Mozilla Firefox. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.
A remote user can create specially crafted HTML containing '<option>' elements in an XUL tree '<optgroup>' that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a dangling pointer flaw in nsTreeContentView and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2010-0176]. The code will run with the privileges of the target user. regenrecht reported this vulnerability via TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative.
A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when reloaded by the target user, will trigger a dangling pointer flaw in the nsPluginArray window.navigator.plugins object and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2010-0177]. regenrecht reported this vulnerability via TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative.
A remote user can create a specially crafted applet that, when loaded, may convert a target user mouse click into a drag-and-drop action. This can be exploited to load a privileged 'chrome:' URL and then execute arbitrary scripting code with chrome privileges [CVE-2010-0178]. Paul Stone reported this vulnerability.
