Description:
A vulnerability was reported in the the Linux Kernel. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
A remote user can send specially crafted data to cause the target e1000 or e1000e driver to crash.
A remote user may also be able to send specially crafted data that will bypass the driver's fragment check and cause portions of invalid frames to be passed up to the networking stack.
