Description:
Two vulnerabilities were reported in Mozilla Firefox. A remote user can spoof URLs and URL bar status.
A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user via a non-secure protocol (e.g., http:, file:), will receive SSL indicators near the location bar [CVE-2009-3984]. A document that sets its document.location to an 'https:' URL which in turn responds with a 204 status and empty response body can trigger this flaw. Jonathan Morgan reported this vulnerability.
A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will set the document.location to a URL that will not display properly and may appear to be a different URL [CVE-2009-3985]. Jordi Chancel reported this vulnerability.

A remote user can create HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will spoof the URL bar SSL status or the URL bar contents on the target user's browser.
