Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM Tivoli Storage Manager. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to cause the target service to hang or crash.

[Editor's note: This vulnerability was originally disclosed by the vendor in March 2007.]

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to hang or crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (APAR IC46744; 5.3.2, 6.1).
