Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Nortel VPN Router. A remote user can access the target system.
The LDAP template included with router builds 3_60 and later includes two default user accounts (FIPSecryptedtest1219 and FIPSunecryptedtest1219) for diagnostic purposes. A remote user can use one of these accounts to access the VPN.
A remote user can supply a specially crafted URL to access some administrator functions via the web administration interface without authenticating. The user can then modify certain configuration settings.
Detack GmbH discovered these vulnerabilities.

Solution:
The vendor has issued fixed versions (5_05.149, 5_05.304, and 6_05.140).
