Description:
A vulnerability was reported in KSirc. A remote user may be able to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
A remote user (server) can send a specially crafted PRIVMSG to trigger a buffer overflow and potentially execute arbitrary code on the connected target client system.

The vendor has issued a patch for KDE 3.5.5, available at:
