Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Hyper-V. A local user on the guest system can cause denial of service conditions on the host system. A local user on the guest system can obtain potentially sensitive information on the host system.

A local privileged user on the guest system can run a specially crafted application to trigger an input validation flaw and cause the host system to crash [CVE-2017-8704]. Versions 2016 and 10 Version 1607 are affected.

A local user can run a specially crafted application to trigger an input validation flaw to obtain potentially sensitive information from host system memory [CVE-2017-8706, CVE-2017-8707, CVE-2017-8711, CVE-2017-8712, CVE-2017-8713].

Jordan Rabet, Microsoft Offensive Security Research Team, Nicolas Joly of MSRC Vulnerabilities & Mitigations, ZhenhaoHong of Qihoo 360 Marvel Team, and Axel Souchet (@0vercl0k) of MSRC Vulnerabilities and Mitigations Team reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A local user on the guest system can cause the host system to crash.

A local user on the guest system can obtain potentially sensitive information from host system memory.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
