Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM DB2. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user with DB2 instance owner privileges can gain root privileges on the target system.

Impact:   A local user with DB2 privileges can obtain root privileges on the target system.
Solution:   IBM has issued a fix (APARs IT21140, IT21143, IT21163, IT21164).
