Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Apache Struts. A remote user can consume excessive CPU resources on the target system. Cisco Emergency Responder is affected.

A remote user can supply a specially crafted URL in a form field to trigger an error in regular expression (regex) processing and consume excessive CPU resources on the target system.

Adam Cazzolla and Jonathan Bullock reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can consume excessive CPU resources on the target system.
Solution:   Cisco has issued an advisory for CVE-2017-9804 for Cisco Emergency Responder.
