Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS XE on ASR 920 Series Routers. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can supply a specially crafted USB modem command to exploit an input validation flaw and execute arbitrary commands on the target underlying operating system.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCve48949 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can execute arbitrary commands on the target underlying operating system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
