Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Apache Struts. A remote user can consume excessive CPU resources on the target system.

A remote user can supply a specially crafted URL in a form field to trigger an error in regular expression (regex) processing and consume excessive CPU resources on the target system.

Adam Cazzolla and Jonathan Bullock reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can consume excessive CPU resources on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (2.3.34, 2.5.13).
