Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Apache mod_auth_digest. A remote user can cause the target service to crash. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

The mod_auth_digest component does not properly initialize memory used to process 'Digest' type HTTP Authorization headers. A remote user can send a specially crafted request to view potentially sensitive information from the previous request.

Robert Swiecki reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to crash.

A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

Solution:   Oracle has issued a fix.
