Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Apache Subversion. A remote user can conduct XML external entity attacks to deny service on the target system.

A remote user can supply specially crafted XML External Entity (XXE) data to consume excessive CPU or memory resources on the target system.

The Subversion client is affected when using 'https://' URLs.

The Subversion mod_dontdothat module is affected.

Florian Weimer of Red Hat reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can consume excessive CPU or memory resources on the target system.
Solution:   Ubuntu has issued a fix.
