Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in Adobe Flash. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a type confusion error and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.

Bjorn Ruytenberg (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative) and Mateusz Jurczyk and Natalie Silvanovich of Google Project Zero reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can create content that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.

A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

Solution:   Red Hat has issued a fix.

An update for flash-plugin is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
Supplementary.

The flash-plugin package contains a Mozilla Firefox compatible Adobe Flash
Player web browser plug-in.

This update upgrades Flash Player to version 26.0.0.151.

Security Fix(es):

* This update fixes multiple vulnerabilities in Adobe Flash Player. These
vulnerabilities, detailed in the Adobe Security Bulletin listed in the
References section, could allow an attacker to create a specially crafted
SWF file that would cause flash-plugin to crash, execute arbitrary code, or
disclose sensitive information when the victim loaded a page containing the
malicious SWF content. (CVE-2017-3085, CVE-2017-3106)
