Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Windows NetBIOS. A remote user can cause the target system to become unresponsive.

A remote user on the local network can send specially crafted NetBIOS packets to the target system to cause the target system to become unresponsive.

Huichen Lin and Prof. Neil Bergmann of the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering - The University of Queensland reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user on the local network can cause the target system to become unresponsive.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
