Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Microsoft Hyper-V. A local user on the guest system can gain elevated privileges on the host system.

A local user on the guest system can run a specially crafted application to exploit an input validation flaw to execute arbitrary code on the Hyper-V host operating system.

Peter Hlavaty (@zer0mem), KeenLab, Tencent reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user on the guest system can gain elevated privileges on the host system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
