Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ASA. A remote user can determine valid usernames on the target system.

A remote user can exploit a flaw in the in the web interface in the interaction between the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and SSL Connection Profile, when configured together, to determine valid usernames on the target system.

Systems configured with both LDAP and SSL Connection Profile and with password management enabled are affected.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvd47888 to this vulnerability.

Kirk Hayes of Rapid7, Inc. reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can determine valid usernames on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
