Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Edge. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger an object memory handling error and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system. These vulnerabilities can also be exploited via an embedded ActiveX control marked as "safe for initialization".

The browser component is affected [CVE-2017-8595, CVE-2017-8619, CVE-2017-8598, CVE-2017-8603, CVE-2017-8604, CVE-2017-8605, CVE-2017-8610].

The Chakra JavaScript engine is affected [CVE-2017-8601].

The JavaScript engine is affected [CVE-2017-8606, CVE-2017-8607, CVE-2017-8608].

The Scripting Engine is affected [CVE-2017-8518, CVE-2017-8609].

Microsoft ChakraCore Team, Anonymous (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative (ZDI)), Yuki Chen of Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team, Christian Holler (decoder, @mozdeco) - own-hero Team, Lokihart of Google Project Zero, bee13oy of CloverSec Labs (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative), Liu Long of Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team, Lin Yang @SJTU (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative), Wang Yuan of Nanyang Technological University (via Trend Micro's Zero Day Initiative), Hao Linan of Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team, Dhanesh Kizhakkinan of FireEye, Inc., Qixun Zhao of Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team, and Matt Miller (@epakskape) of MSRC Vulnerabilities and Mitigations Team reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can create content that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
