Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS XR. A remote user can cause the target service to restart.

A remote user can send a specially crafted ulticast Source Discovery Protocol (MSDP) packet for an established MSDP session to trigger an error handling bug and cause the target session to restart within a few seconds.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvd94828 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to restart.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
