Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ASA. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

The TCP normalizer does not properly limit the global out-of-order TCP queue for specific block sizes. A remote user can send a large number of specially crafted TCP connections with out-of-order segments to consume all available blocks in the global out-of-order TCP queue and cause the target device to drop all subsequent traffic on all interfaces.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvb46321 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the system to drop all subsequent traffic on all interfaces.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
