Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in the Windows Kernel. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can run a specially crafted application to trigger a permissions error in the Windows Kernel API and execute arbitrary commands on the target system with elevated privileges [CVE-2017-0050].

A local user can run a specially crafted application to trigger an object memory handling error in the Windows Transaction Manager and execute arbitrary commands on the target system with elevated privileges [CVE-2017-0101].

A local user can run a specially crafted application to trigger a buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2017-0102].

A local user can run a specially crafted application to trigger a registry object handling error in the Windows Kernel API and execute arbitrary commands on the target system with elevated privileges [CVE-2017-0103].

James Forshaw of Google Project Zero, Mateusz Jurczyk of Google Project Zero, and Peter Hlavaty (@zer0mem), KeenLab, Tencent reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
