A local user can modify a PowerShell script that will bypass the Device Guard PowerShell validation protections so that the modifications will not be detected [CVE-2017-0007].

A remote user can return specially crafted SMBv2/SMBv3 data to the connected client to cause the target client system to stop responding [CVE-2017-0016]. A manual restart is required to return the system to normal operations.

Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs, James Forshaw of Google Project Zero, Martin Knafve, Matt Nelson (@enigma0x3), and lywang of Tencent's Xuanwu LAB reported these vulnerabilities.
