Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in PHP. A user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system. A user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A user can send specially crafted data to cause the target application or service using PHP to potentially crash or execute arbitrary code.

The specific impact depends on the application or service using the vulnerable PHP function.

An integer overflow may occur in GD in the imageline() function with antialiasing.

An integer overflow may occur in GD in gdImageScaleBilinearPalette().

A stack overflow may occur in GD dynamicGetbuf.

A memory read or write access error may occur in GD in gdImageAALine.

A stack overflow may occur in GD in imagefilltoborder in processing truecolor images [CVE-2016-9933]. Version 5.6.x is affected.

An integer overflow may occur in IMAP in _php_imap_mail().

A use-after-free memory error may occur in SPL in ArrayObject seserialization. Version 5.6.x is affected.

A use-after-free memory error may occur in userspace streams. Version 5.6.x is affected.

A null pointer dereference may occur in WDDX in pack deserialization with PDORow [CVE-2016-9934].

Impact:   A user can cause denial of service conditions.

A user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Solution:   Ubuntu has issued a fix for CVE-2016-9934.
