Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Bzip2. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. IBM License Metric Tool is affected.

A remote user can create a specially crafted compressed file that, when decompressed by the target user or application, will trigger an integer overflow and potentially execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user or application.

Impact:   A remote user can create a file that, when decompressed by the target user or application, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
Solution:   IBM has issued a fix for IBM License Metric Tool (9.2.6).
