Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Microsoft Edge. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system. Microsoft Internet Explorer is affected.

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption error in the scripting engine and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2016-7287, CVE-2016-7286, CVE-2016-7288, CVE-2016-7296, CVE-2016-7297].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption error in the browser and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system [CVE-2016-7181, CVE-2016-7279].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will access potentially sensitive information on the target user's system [CVE-2016-7206, CVE-2016-7280, CVE-2016-7282].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will bypass same-origin policy for scripts running inside of web workers [CVE-2016-7281].

Masato Kinugawa of Cure53, Natalie Silvanovich of Google Project Zero, The UK's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), and Viet Hailperin(@fenceposterror) of scip AG reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can create content that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.

A remote user can bypass security controls on the target system.

A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

Solution:   Microsoft has issued a fix for CVE-2016-7279, CVE-2016-7281, CVE-2016-7282, and CVE-2016-7287 for Microsoft Internet Explorer.
