Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ONS 15454. A remote user can cause the target controller card to reset.

A remote user can send a continuous stream of TCP traffic to a certain port on the target device to cause the target controller card to reset, temporarily disrupting management traffic.

User traffic is not affected.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuw26032 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target controller card to reset, temporarily disrupting management traffic.
Solution:   No solution was available at the time of this entry.

The vendor plans to issue a fix (10.62) in Spring 2017 [northern hemisphere].
