Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ASR 900 Series Routers. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send a specially crafted request to the target Transaction Language 1 (TL1) port to trigger a buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system or cause the target device to reload.

The Cisco ASR ASR902, ASR903, and ASR907 series routers are affected.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuy15175 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system or cause the target system to reload.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (3.17.3S [planned for November 30, 2016], 3.18.2S).
