Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS and IOS XE. A remote user can cause the target user to download an arbitrary file.

A remote user can insert specially crafted HTTP headers into the communications path between the user and the target IOS system to exploit an input validation flaw in the Cisco Application-hosting Framework (CAF) component and cause the target CAF user to download an arbitrary file controlled by the remote user.

Cisco IOS and IOS XE with the IOx feature set is affected.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuz84773 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target user to download an arbitrary file.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
