Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.

A remote user can send a specially crafted Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) request to the target system to obtain up to 63 bytes of memory contents previously used for sending or receiving PPTP packets from the target system.

Transit traffic is not affected.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCvb16274 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information on the target system.
