Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS XE. A remote user can cause the target system to restart.

A remote user can send a specially crafted Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol (SRTP) packet to trigger an integer underflow in the encryption processing subsystem of the SRTP library (libSRTP) and cause the target system to restart.

Systems configured for Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) or Session Border Controller (SBC) features to terminate or translate using SRTP sessions are affected.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCux04317 to this vulnerability.

Other Cisco products are affected.

Randell Jesup with the Mozilla team reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target system to restart.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (3.14.3S, 3.13.5S, 3.16.2S, 3.10.7S, 3.17.1S, 3.15.3S).
