Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS and IOS XE. A remote user can cause the target device to reload.

A remote user can send specially crafted Smart Install packets to TCP port 4786 on the target device to trigger a flaw in the handling of image list parameters and cause the target device to reload.

The vendor has assigned bug IDs CSCtj75729 and CSCuv45410 to this vulnerability.

Tenable Network Security reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target device to reload.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
