Description:
Two vulnerabilities were reported in Wireshark. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.
A remote user can send specially crafted PPP data to cause the target service to crash [CVE-2012-4048].
A remote user can send specially crafted NFS data to cause the NFS dissector to consume excessive CPU resources [CVE-2012-4049].

Solution:
The vendor has issued a fix (1.4.14, 1.6.9, 1.8.1).
