Description:   A vulnerability was reported in the Windows Kernel. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can run a specially crafted program to exploit Windows User Mode Scheduler (UMS) to execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.

[Editor's note: Xen is also affected.]

Rafal Wojtczuk of Bromium and Jan Beulich of SUSE reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
