Description:
Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Solaris. A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system. A local user can cause denial of service conditions. A remote user can partially access or modify data on the target system.
A local user can exploit a kernel flaw to gain root privileges [CVE-2012-1691].
A local user can exploit flaws in bsmconv(1M) and bsmunconv(1M) to gain root privileges [CVE-2012-0539].
A local user can exploit a flaw in gssd(1M) to gain root privileges [CVE-2012-1683].
A remote user can exploit a flaw in libsasl(3LIB) to partially access or modify data on the target system [CVE-2012-1694].
A local user can exploit a flaw in sockfs [CVE-2012-1681] or SCTP(7P) [CVE-2012-1692] to cause the target system to crash.
A local user can exploit a Password Policy flaw to partially access and modify data or partially deny service on the target system [CVE-2012-1684].
A remote user can exploit a flaw in GLD(7D) to partially access data on the target system [CVE-2012-1698].
