Description:
Several vulnerabilities were reported in TIBCO ActiveMatrix. A remote user can conduct cross-site scripting attacks. A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information. A remote user may be able to obtain authentication credentials.
A specially crafted URL may cause information disclosure [CVE-2012-0687].
The software does not properly filter HTML code from user-supplied input before displaying the input [CVE-2012-0688]. A remote user can cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the target user's browser. The code will originate from the site running the TIBCO ActiveMatrix software and will run in the security context of that site. As a result, the code will be able to access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with the site, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.
The server may disclose authentication credential information to the remote client [CVE-2012-0689].
The following product versions are affected by all three vulnerabilities:
TIBCO ActiveMatrix Service Grid version 3.X prior to 3.1.5
TIBCO ActiveMatrix Service Bus version 3.X prior to 3.1.5
TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Service Engine version 5.9.X prior to 5.9.3
TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM prior to 1.3.0
TIBCO Silver Fabric ActiveMatrix Service Grid Distribution 3.1.3
The following product versions are affected by the information disclosure vulnerability:
TIBCO ActiveMatrix Service Grid version 2.X prior to 2.3.2
TIBCO ActiveMatrix Service Bus version 2.X prior to 2.3.2
TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Service Engine prior to 5.8.2
TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks below 5.9.3
TIBCO Silver Fabric ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Distribution 5.9.2
|
Impact:
A remote user can access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with the site running the TIBCO ActiveMatrix software, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.
A remote user can obtain potentially sensitive information.
A remote user may be able to obtain authentication credentials.
